Lee Valley Easter Country Fair

The great thing about moving to Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford is not only easy access to the city but the host of activities available year-round for all the family. This Easter the Lee Valley Easter country Fair is just a short hop away. Between Sunday 21st April 2019 and Monday the 22nd April 2019 from 10 am until 4 pm at Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, Herefordshire EN9 1AB there really is something for everyone.

If you are planning to head out and hit your local green spaces this Easter for some family fun and fresh air the Lee Valley Easter Fair now in its 6th year is a traditional Country Fair. The entertainment runs throughout the day with, birds of prey & owl flying displays, terrier racing, and to keep your younger family happy and amused there is also a children’s entertainer. The goat show which includes bottle feeding lambs and kids will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about these engaging interesting animals that have long been useful to mankind.

There are also other animal petting pens for the children to get up close to other animals and then there is some historical re-enactment from national groups. Other activities include demonstrations of rural skills that in some cases have been long been forgotten but are being re-established in some parts of the countryside.

To add to your enjoyment of your day out from Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford you will also have the chance to browse a range of arts, crafts and sample food drink from the many traders operating in the gifts marquees as well as in outside trade stands. Parking is free and the event is fully catered with a licensed bar.

On the Monday this event hosts The Companion Dog Show so if you want to bring along a canine friend and have a go you need to plan to be at the Lee Valley Easter Country Fair on Monday.
