Spooky Science for a day

The October half term so often falls at Halloween and Bonfire Night, so what better fun for the small ones than to join Professor Fab and her gaggle of wizarding scientists. On Saturday 28th October there are five hours of potions, flying broomsticks and ghoul-snot galore to enjoy. You can drop off your witches, wizards and muggles (aged 5-12) for a day of hands on experimenting and science fun.
The Spooky Science day runs from 11am-4pm at Roding Valley High School, Alderton Hill, Loughton, Essex IG10 3JA.  It costs £32 for the day (siblings are £28 each). You will need to send them with a packed lunch and clothes that you and they don’t mind getting messy. Halloween fancy dress of course is welcome but optional!
Fab Science offer lots of events in and around Chigwell from mini-party experimenting around the table to a whole-classround for tea extravaganza.  They have made many a local birthday party go with a bang! Your kids will be the talk of the playground as they and their friends do real experiments and see some amazing science.
All the Fab Science activity days are designed by Emma Ranade, a qualified Science teacher who loves to make science fun. Every activity is thoroughly tested by kids and only makes it into one of their events if it meets the exacting standards of small people: maximum fun, hands-on experimenting and the wow-factor. Safety is paramount and they only use child-safe materials.
