Epping Forest Wedding Show

Just a short hop skip and jump away from Chigwell, Loughton and Woodford you can find the impressive Gilwell Park Wedding Show taking place on Sunday 1st March 2020 from 11 am until 3 pm. There are so many opportunities to go shopping in London if you live in Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford and it is so easy to get into town but having a Wedding show nearly on your doorstep can be just as much fun.

If you are planning a wedding that uses one of the fabulous venues in or around Epping Forest and the local environs it also allows you to make a weekend of it and check out venue details as well. There's so much to think about when planning a wedding so starting the process with a chilled prosecco is not a bad idea.

Gilwell Park's Wedding Show is free and offers the perfect opportunity to mingle and meet local suppliers who'll be ready to help create your dream day. The venue is also tucked deep within Epping Forest, so you get to experience and be reminded of the stunning beauty that's on your doorstep when you live in Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford.

Gilwell Park London E4 7QW is one of the areas best-kept secrets. It was purchased in 1919 by William De Bois Maclaren, a publisher and Scout Commissioner from Rosneath, Dunbartonshire, Scotland. During a business trip to London, Maclaren was saddened to see that Scouts in the East End had nowhere suitable to have amazing outdoor adventures. Maclaren bought the estate for the Scout Association and it has been used ever since.

You can even hire the White House of Gilwell Park and the grounds for your big day. At the wedding fair, you can wander into the rustic Gidney Cabin or be wowed by the Swan Centre if you're looking for a log cabin destination. The Main Hall is the perfect blank canvas that can be turned into whatever you want your big day to look and feel like.
