If you are looking for a bit of culture in Chigwell, Outside Edge is a comedy by Richard Harris performed by Chigwell Row Operatic and Dramatic Society. Clearly, Essex is a cricket county and in the wake of England’s success against India in the test this summer English cricket has lots to celebrate. But according to the playwright Outside Edge is not a play just about cricket, but a play about people.
Outside Edge will be performed in Chigwell at Victory Hall, Chigwell, Essex IG7 6QX at 7.45pm from Wednesday 3rd October 2018 to Saturday 6th October 2018. It was first performed in 1979 and continues to be performed every weekend through the cricket season, in various villages and towns around the country.
