Not far from Chigwell, Loughton and Woodford is the Lee Valley White Water Centre on Station Road Waltham Cross Hertfordshire EN9 1AB offers a host of activities. Coming up on Saturday 27th April 2019 is a unique opportunity to see Bohemian Rhapsody (12A) at their open Air Cinema.
They have put up a 24ft outdoor screen for this special screening. The doors will open at 7.30pm and the film starts at approximately 8.30pm depending on sunset. Costs are £10.00 per person or £60 for a group of 7. You are asked to bring your own blankets picnics and chairs and enjoy the film in the open air at this stunning Olympic venue. All the money that is made from this Outdoor Rhapsody will go to The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre (Reg. Charity No: 1094435). The Nightingale provides vital additional support so often needed by those affected by cancer. They work with the clinical services of the NHS to assist people to live with and beyond the disease in Essex.
So often it is not just the patient who suffers from a cancer diagnosis the family, friends and even the work colleagues who support them need support themselves. The Nightingale offers support and services free of charge. This is only possible by fundraising from events and donations.
The Nightingale offers professional services that are tailor-made, and include a diverse range of activities in a safe place which provides tangible benefits to the well-being of their clients. They not only offer advice and information but, also the ongoing emotional and practical supports crucial in helping people face their changed lives.
This looks like it will be a night to remember and a new way of seeing the Olympic park not far from Loughton Woodford and Chigwell. This event will go ahead rain or shine they say!
