The thing about living in Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford is that you feel you are living in the country but London really is on your door step. Bach to Baby concerts, the critically acclaimed classical concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers are held in venues all over London including Wanstead United Reformed Church, London E11 just 3.5 miles from Chigwell starting on January 16th with more dates online http://www.bachtobaby.com/eupdate .
The idea is that your toddlers can dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top notch performances by outstanding musicians. After the performance you all them come together and gather around the musicians and request your favourite nursery rhymes to which you can sing along.
Miaomiao Yu concert pianist and mum founded Bach to Baby, known for her artistic mastery and effervescent stage-presence, pianist Miaomiao Yu has delighted audiences around the world.
After having her children and missing being able to go to concerts Miaomiao founded Bach to Baby, an innovative series of events designed for babies and their families where she performs with internationally renowned guest artists. No concert is complete without feeding, crying and nappy changing so don’t worry!
The doors open 30 mins before any concert, so you have time to park the buggy, grab a coffee and catch up with friends before the performance begins. Tickets for adult cost £8-12, but children go free.
