30 Days Wild in Essex

Throughout June why not do 30 days wild in Essex. If you live in Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford you can get involved this June. Essex Wildlife Trust is challenging you to do something a little bit wild every day which means 30 Days of fun, exciting, simple Random Acts of Wildness.

They have a free pack to help you plan your wild month in Essex and to inspire you to stay wild beyond the month of June.  You'll get a wall chart and a calendar, a poster a booklet packed full of ideas to help you go wild, a set of stickers, and an invitation you can give to a friend or neighbour to invite them to take part with you!

Now in its 4th year 30 Days Wild is the UK's month-long nature campaign run by The Wildlife Trusts. Hundreds of thousands of people across the UK take part. It is about re-connecting with the natural world around you and doing a little bit of good for wildlife. It can be from small actions like stopping to smell a flower on your way to the shops or taking a moment to watch a garden bird to big things like giving up the use of single-use plastics for a month or pledging your support to a global nature campaign.

It's not just the wildlife that benefits from 30 Days Wild. Humans are part of nature, and nature needs to be a part of our lives. Spending time outdoors in the beautiful Essex countryside can make you feel happier, healthier and closer to nature, as well as helping people to take more actions to help wildlife. No matter where you live your Wildlife Trust is protecting and standing up for wildlife and wild places not only in Essex but around the UK, what can you do to go wild in Chigwell, Loughton or Woodford?
